My name is Veronique. I am an English to French Translator based in the Washington DC Metro Area. I am fully bilingual –I was born in the U.S. and grew up in a French speaking household. I also speak Spanish fluently. I have a Master’s in International Development and a B.A in Applied Foreign languages. After my studies, I immediately started working on programs dedicated to improving the well-being of women and children all over the world.

My work experience in development has given me an advantage in the translation business in an area I know well. I know its culture, people and practices. I understand the issues, the language and terminology. I cover a variety of subject areas within the international development realm, including gender and public health issues. I learned the art of translation while studying for my bachelor’s in France and I kept on translating ever since!
